This week we mark a special milestone - 20 years since Paul Ranson became CEO of Bank of us.

When Paul stepped into the role, Bank of us was a team of 64 people, with total assets of around $350 million. In the past two decades, we’ve grown, all the while remaining truly Tasmanian.

We now have over 150 staff, and assets close to $2 billion.

But the numbers are only part of the story. Under Paul’s leadership, we’ve worked together to build a positive, highly-engaged culture, focused on what matters most: our customers.

Paul has an eye for detail and a deep commitment to the people around him. You’ll often find him unassumingly working alongside colleagues in our open-plan offices, always ready to listen or share a quiet word of support.

Paul is well connected across the Tasmanian business community, and has played an important role in helping us grow - not just in size, but in purpose and connection.

“Paul’s leadership has shaped how we show up for our people and our customers,” Bank of us Board chair Helen Galloway said. “It’s been an honour to present him with a certificate of service recognising this significant milestone today.”

Bank of us has a recognition program for all staff who reach significant employment milestones, and Paul joins several highly regarded team members in the 20-year club.

From all of us at Bank of us, thank you Paul - for your consistent guidance, your integrity, and the part you’ve played in making us the Bank we are today.
