Empowering young Tasmanians through financial literacy

We believe every child deserves the confidence and skills to make smart financial decisions. That’s why we’re committed to helping build a future where financial literacy starts early and grows with our young people.

Through our collaboration with Children’s University, we’re helping to inspire curiosity and learning beyond the classroom. We’re also developing a fun, interactive app for children aged 5–8, designed to make money concepts simple and engaging from the very start. And by supporting the University of Tasmania’s West Coast Financial Literacy Project, we’re helping ensure that Tasmanian communities have access to essential financial education.

🌱 Pre‑school

Building early confidence with playful money learning
Young children learn best through play, curiosity, and exploration — and that’s exactly how we're introducing early money concepts. Through our fun, interactive app for ages 5–8 and hands‑on activities developed with trusted partners, we're helping pre‑schoolers recognise money, understand simple choices, and start building healthy financial habits from the very beginning. It’s all about planting the seeds for confidence and lifelong learning.

📚 Primary School

Growing skills through real‑world learning
Primary‑aged children are ready to take their understanding a little further — encouraging them to think about earning, saving, spending, and sharing in ways that feel relevant to their everyday lives. Through engaging activities, community partnerships, and our work with Children’s University, we're helping students connect financial ideas with real experiences — empowering them to make thoughtful decisions as they grow.

🌟 Tweens & Teens

Preparing young people for their financial future
As young Tasmanians move toward greater independence, financial literacy becomes even more important. We're helping to support tweens and teens as they learn to manage money confidently, understand the value of planning ahead, and navigate real‑world financial choices. By backing projects like the West Coast Financial Literacy Project, we’re ensuring that young people across the state — including those in remote communities — have access to the knowledge and skills they need for a bright financial future.
