Empowering Young People for Their Financial Future

We’re proud to support a community‑led financial literacy program developed with the University of Tasmania to help young people on the West Coast build stronger financial futures. The program brings together schools, families and local organisations to give high‑school students practical, real‑world money skills that will support them well into adulthood.

More resources for high‑school students, parents and educators will be added soon.

West Coast Financial Literacy Project

Is a project designed to address critical gaps in financial literacy for young people aged 8–19 and was created in close collaboration with the West Coast community.

The program is a collaboration across the University and with local schools, libraries, businesses and sporting clubs to embed financial literacy into everyday learning and community activities.

It will also provide regular training and workshops for educators, community leaders and families to build financial capability across the whole community.
