Temporary closure of our Glenorchy Retail Store

Bank of us will temporarily close its Glenorchy Retail Store from Monday, 23 March to ensure the safety and security of its staff, as co-tenant RACT closes its stores statewide.

Bank of us and RACT share a retail space at the corner of Main Road and Terry Streets in Glenorchy.

We have a small number of staff based at the Store and with RACT temporarily shutting its doors in a precautionary Coronavirus measure, we’ve made the decision to close as well, as a security measure,” said Bank of us CEO Paul Ranson

“These staff members will be redeployed to our other southern stores,” said Mr Ranson.

“The temporary closure doesn’t impact any of our other Retail Stores. We intend to keep our remaining seven stores across the state open for as long as we can to provide a continuity of banking services.

“We are continuing to monitor the alert levels and public health communications and will act on the authoritys’ advice accordingly.

“We are actively contacting our Glenorchy customers to advise them of the closure and to let them know they can continue to bank with us while the Store is closed,” said Mr Ranson.

  • Call the Contact Centre between 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday on 1300 306 716
