We’re different to the others

We put people at the heart of banking, helping Tasmanians realise their dreams through home ownership and financial security.

Established more than 150 years ago, we are the nation’s longest-operating customer-owned bank. We’re truly Tasmanian, and the profits we make go back into the business, not to shareholders, so that we can continue to deliver on our promise of competitive products and personal service to our customers.

Over the years we’ve remained true to our original purpose of getting Tasmanians into homes. We see years more growth ahead and we plan to do that right here in Tasmania. To help us achieve this, we’re looking for talented, passionate people to come join our team.

So, how will you contribute to our mission?

In this role, you’ll provide excellent IT support and customer service to Bank of us staff, in accordance with IT Service Desk best practice and ITIL frameworks.

You and your team will be the first point of contact for resolving IT support tickets where possible, or escalating them to the appropriate teams or vendors, as needed. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT Service Desk processes and procedures.

We are looking for someone who Lives it, Loves it and Owns it in-line with our organisational values and behaviours. You’ll have a keen interest in technology, a professional manner in which you conduct your duties, the ability to build strong relationships with all teams across the organisation, and be able to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Ideally, you will also have a relevant IT qualification and/or previous experience in service desk support or other IT technical roles, however, this is not essential! This opportunity would be well suited to a recent IT graduate.

Please note, you can be based in either our Devonport or Launceston Office for this role. If you are Launceston based there would be regular travel to Devonport during the initial training period.

You & us...

For the role of Service Desk Analyst, we are offering a base salary in the range of $65,000 to $70,000 pa (to be negotiated with the preferred candidate commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience), plus 12% superannuation. In addition to this, you will also have the potential to earn up to a 5% bonus!

You’ll love working with us and experiencing a great work-life balance, with flexible arrangements, professional development, and a positive organisational culture that recognises and rewards contributions. To find out more, view our Work with us guide.

Does this sound like you? We’d love to hear from you!
