As the only Tasmanian customer owned bank, we want to make a difference in the lives of Tasmanians, of communities and the environment. We’re doing this through placing Tasmanians at the heart of banking, by caring about the local communities we do business in and putting any profits that we make back into the business, not to shareholders, so that we can keep making our products and our services even better for our customers.
As the customer face of Bank of us, you’ll get to be part of our Customer Experience Consultant team, working across our North West stores (Devonport, Ulverstone, Burnie and Wynyard*). Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experiences by putting customers at the centre of every interaction. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, genuine enthusiasm for helping others, and the ability to identify and respond to each customer's unique needs.
You'll provide outstanding service both in-store and through our telephone and digital lines, ensuring customers' day-to-day banking needs are met with care and efficiency. Because you genuinely care about your customers, you'll take the time to understand their goals and support their financial wellbeing by identifying opportunities for insurance and lending referrals where the customer has a need.
Please note: It is currently intended that this role will commence at our Devonport Store.
We are looking for someone who Lives it, Loves it and Owns it, in-line with our organisational values and behaviours. You will be a team player, bring a customer focus, and be willing to learn and have fun at the same time.
Don't let a few missing tick boxes stop you! If you're excited about this opportunity but your experience doesn't match every single requirement, we still want to hear from you. You could be the perfect fit for this role—or another amazing opportunity at Bank of Us!
At Bank of us, you'll benefit from a great work-life balance, ongoing development opportunities, and a positive team culture that celebrates success and values every contribution. With full training provided and the opportunity to undertake formal qualifications, you'll have the support you need to build a rewarding and fulfilling career.
