As the only Tasmanian customer owned bank, we want to make a difference in the lives of Tasmanians, of communities and the environment. We’re doing this through placing Tasmanians at the heart of banking, by caring about the local communities we do business in and putting any profits that we make back into the business, not to shareholders, so that we can keep making our products and our services even better for our customers.
As the customer face of Bank of us, you’ll get to be part of our Customer Experience Consultant team, working across our North West stores (Devonport, Ulverstone, Burnie, and Wynyard*), where your number one aim is putting your customer first. What’s important is your positive vibe and a knack for uncovering all your customer’s needs.
*Please note, at this time, it is intended this position will commence at our Devonport Store.
You’ll deliver amazing service in person in store and through our telephone and digital lines, ensuring all your customers banking transactional needs are met, and because you really care about your customer, you’ll go the extra mile to support their financial wellbeing through insurance and lending referrals, where the customer has a need.
We are looking for someone who Lives it, Loves it and Owns it in-line with our organisational values and behaviours. You will be a team player, bring a customer focus, and be willing to learn and have fun at the same time.
Don't let a few missing tick boxes stop you! If you're excited about this opportunity but your experience doesn't match every single requirement, we still want to hear from you. You could be the perfect fit for this role—or another amazing opportunity at Bank of Us!
You’ll love working with us and experiencing a great work-life balance, professional development, and a positive organisational culture that recognizes and rewards contributions. Full on-the-job training is provided, and you’ll also have the opportunity to take up formal qualifications, to support your learning, in this new career, if that is something that you have an interest in. To find out more, view our Work with us guide.
