To help, we've put together some top travel tips:

1. Let us know before you go

Login to Internet Banking or call us on 1300 306 716 with your travel itinerary before you leave and let us know if your plans change. That way when our advanced fraud monitoring system picks up overseas transactions, we'll know that you're safely enjoying your trip and that the transactions are legitimate, based on your travel plans. If you don't tell us your plans, you'll run the risk of having your transaction declined and/or card cancelled.

2. Overseas travel and One Time Passwords (OTPs)

You can still receive SMS OTPs while you're overseas if you've activated international roaming on your device. It's best to check with your mobile service provider before you leave about any costs you may incur. Remember you only receive an SMS OTP for certain transactions, like if you're paying a new payee or updating your contact details. Learn more
