Happy, healthy communities ... that’s why at Bank of us we support a wide range of community events and activities which promote and encourage positive health outcomes for all Tasmanians.
Our signature sponsorship events include three of Tasmania’s leading fun runs - from Australia’s fastest road race, the B&E Launceston Ten, through to Tasmania’s largest fun run, the B&E Burnie Ten, and in more recent times the state’s newest fun run, the B&E Hobart Run the Bridge.
Positioning us at the forefront of community fun runs in Tasmania, these events provide a solid platform for us to support and promote health and wellbeing all year around.
We're delighted to report that each of these events has attracted record fields in recent years - from elite, world class athletes through to recreational runners, joggers and walkers alike.
Alongside our signature sponsorship events, Bank of us is also a major supporter of the Give Me 5 for Kids (GM54K) Telethon, held in June and hosted by Southern Cross Television. GM54K is a national charity that raises funds for local children’s hospital wards to buy much needed medical equipment for helping seriously ill children.
Alongside this, we also sponsor a broad range of local clubs and community events right across the state.
