Bank of us enhances fraud monitoring capability

Bank of us has invested in an upgrade to its fraud monitoring service to offer increased protection to customer funds.

Bank of us CEO Paul Ranson said “The increase in the number of fraud incidents and scams circulating is impacting Bank of us, our customers and our community. Mitigating and minimising the impact of these crimes on our customers is a part of our commitment to protect our customers from fraud”.

“Our external fraud team will enhance our existing fraud prevention strategies with increased intelligence on fraud and suspicious payment transactions.”

An external fraud team will contact customers if suspicious activity is detected by phone, SMS and email.

Customers will be notified of the service in the coming days.
