An iconic course ... the Run the Bridge course takes in some of Hobart's most notable landmarks starting at Bellerive Oval, travelling through Bellerive and Clarence, then across the Tasman Bridge and finishing right in the heart of Hobart at Salamanca.

In 2010, we announced a major new sponsorship initiative, signing up as the naming-rights sponsor for the inaugural Hobart Run the Bridge Fun Run.
Since then the event has gone from strength to strength and in 2017 attracted more than 3,200 participants from all sections of the local community, including elite runners, joggers, walkers and people of all ages and fitness levels.

Bright and early on Sunday morning, over 3,500 people charged across the Tasman Bridge. In a historical first, the Tasman Bridge was closed to all traffic for the event!
Previous winner, Liam Adams won this year's event, with a time of 29:15. followed by Tasmania's Dejen Gebreselassie (29:22) and Yugi Milosevic (29:24).
For the first time since its inception, a female runner took line honours in the 'Battle of the Sexes'. Previous race record holder, Lisa Weightman, smashed her own record to lead the women home with a time of 32:41, with Charlotte Perdue (33:41) and Andrea Seccafien (33:44) placing second and third.
This year marks the events 9th year and really was a record year. This year 5km runners and walkers started the race on the bridge, The digital screen at the finish line was a huge hit with the spectators and the entire event was being broadcast live via Facebook! This event has truly become a community event that everyone can enjoy.
