To assist us in making your application process go as smoothly as possible please read the information below on the documentation we'll need to progress your application. By having this documentation ready to post, fax or drop into one of our branches we'll be able to speed up the application process.
If you're not a current Bank of us client we'll need to identify you in accordance with current identification legislation, which can easily be done at one of our branches. Unfortunately we can't offer this product to new clients who are not existing Tasmanian residents.
You need to provide a current payslip that includes at least 3 months year-to-date income; or a current payslip, plus your most recent Group Certificate; or a letter from your employer on business letterhead confirming your salary package arrangements.
You need to provide your financial statements and taxation returns (business and personal) for the last 3 financial years. Projected income and expense details may also be required.
You need to provide a copy of the completed lease agreement.
You need to provide a current letter from the payer on business letterhead confirming your income. (This includes Centrelink pensions, family tax benefits and Veterans Affairs pensions).
You need to provide either a dealer purchase invoice (if purchased from a recognised motor vehicle dealer) or a copy of the motor vehicle’s registration Certificate (for private sales). Before the loan has been settled we will also need you to provide a certificate of currency for full comprehensive motor vehicle insurance, with Bank of us‘s interests noted.
When you are refinancing existing loans, or consolidating debt we need three months statements to confirm a satisfactory repayment history.
